"THANK YOU"

Omoooo! Even I am surprised that this is coming as my first post but then, we meuveee lol.

So today, someone told me I say "thank you" too much and I began to wonder. Can it be too much to appreciate or give thanks to someone for a good thing they did you?

I, personally say thank you more than five times everyday😂. I meannnn, I'm used to it. Even though sometimes, I get angry at myself because which one is aseju😩 butttt it's really just how I am. I've been asked how are you one time and I said thank you before even saying fine or what not. I literally say thank you to bike men when they drop me or market women when I buy stuff from them or to my little sisters when they do the littlest and the best part is, I absolutely love it!

I feel like "thank you" is a phrase we should use everytime. Things are hard enough and those "five magic words": thank you, please, sorry, excuse me and pardon me are words we should use regularly because they actually do work magic. Things are hard enough so we should make it easier on people by saying these words.

Now, customer service attendants, business owners, social media managers, basically people who interact with customers, clients and all that are people who more than anyone, should imbibe the habit of saying thank you. Sometimes, we buy something from people and they act like they're doing us a favor. The funny thing is, they might actually be doing you a favor but we shouldn't make them feel like that. Always say thank you, explain any questions they might have and even if they do not end up patronizing, don't change it for them, abeg😩.

There's this woman that sells biscuits, sweets, drinks and all of that sha close to my dad's office. This woman ehn! Even if it's just one sachet of purewater you buy, she'll always say thank you and smile and that alone makes me always want to go back to her place. It's amazing, what appreciation can do so we should always try as much as humanly possible to say thank you!
